Decrease in performance and immunity

 

The body's immunity is all the reactions designed to protect us from dangerous microbes. The immune system is responsible for these activities, which, by producing antibodies, effectively protects the body against infections.

 

Sometimes, our immune system weakens and more frequent viral, bacterial and parasitic infections occur.

Due to the weakening of the immune system and frequent infections, there is also a decrease in the body's efficiency, which is mainly manifested by greater fatigue.

 

Causes of weakening immunity:

 

  • smoking and consuming alcohol and psychoactive substances;
  • frequent use of antibiotics that destroy the body's natural bacterial flora;
  • chronic stress is one of the main reasons for the decrease in immunity and endurance of the body. Excessive production of cortisol (a hormone released in a stressful situation) causes the destruction of white blood cells, which are an important part of the immune system;
  • lack of physical activity and a poor diet contribute to a decrease in the production of white blood cells, which task is to defend the body against microorganisms.

 

How to increase body performance and immunity

 

To increase the body's resistance, and thus its performance, you should give up or limit the use of stimulants.

 

It is worth introducing larger amounts of vegetables and fruits to your diet to make up for vitamin deficiencies.

 

Research also shows that daily physical activity is able to significantly mobilize our immune system to work better.
